Salamander: Assistance with Transformation
The appearance of a Salamander totem heralds transformation, but offers assistance with this change from somewhere outside of ourselves, either through an unexpected person or unique resource. Scarab Beetle: Resurrection
The Scarab is a symbol of the sun and an emblem of Egyptian god of the Sun and immortality. Their image was placed with the mummified remains of the dead as a source of new life in the next world. In the Middle Ages, alchemists drew the scarab in diagrams of the double spiral, which leads to the center of the universe. The Scarab brings new life and vitality. It can teach you how to pace yourself through the seasonal changes of the year. Also, gives insight into past lives and spiritual enlightenment.

Scorpion: Transformation
Scorpion promises transformation; however, it is up to you as to whether the change is calm or chaotic. Scorpion energy is the melding of life and death. Death must occur for rebirth. Any change you make must be preceded by the death of something: an idea, a way of life, or a relationship. (Remember this is not an actual death of a person.)
